From our humble beginnings in a tiny laboratory, our efforts have expanded to include our main Pilot Plant :- Ankwanda .

Located in the Ankwanda district of Elmina in the Central Region of Ghana, the Ankwanda operation is a land based, recirculating aquaculture system for marine shrimps and fin-fish. It is designed primarily for marine shrimps, but the plant has been designed to accommodate fin-fish species as well.

 

The initial pilot phase has been designed to accommodate a hatchery, laboratory and grow out facilities. Situated at the mouth of the Gulf of Guinea within shrimp’s natural distribution range, ideal climatic conditions, superior water quality and close proximity to research and development institutions, all support the investment case for the project.

 

Aqua Product will deliver an exceptional quality line of shrimp & fish to the market, all the while supporting sustainability and traceability throughout all of the production processes.
